31. In section 45(1) of the 1949 Act (solemnization of marriage in register office)(1)—
(a)for “certificates of a superintendent registrar” substitute “a marriage schedule”;
(b)for “certificates have” substitute “marriage schedule has”.
Section 45(1) was amended by section 1(2)(a) of the Marriage Ceremony (Prescribed Words) Act 1996, paragraph 24 of Schedule 14 to the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 and S.I. 2014/3168.
