The Scotland Act 19982 is amended as follows.

In section 29(2) (provisions outside legislative competence)3, in paragraph (d), omit “or in breach of the restriction in section 30A(1)”.

Omit section 30A (legislative competence: restriction relating to retained EU law)4.

In section 57 (Convention rights and retained EU law)5—

a

in the heading, omit “and retained EU law”;

b

omit subsections (4) to (15).

In Schedule 6 (devolution issues)6, in paragraph 1(d), omit “or in breach of the restriction in section 57(4)”.

In Schedule 7 (procedure for subordinate legislation)7—

a

in paragraph 1(2), in the table—

omit the entry for section 30A;

ii

omit the entry for section 57(4);

b

omit paragraph 6.
