2. In Part 3 of Schedule 2 to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 (which specifies the drugs which are subject to control under that Act as Class C drugs), in paragraph 1(a)(1) after “Nitrazolam (1-Methyl-8-nitro-6-phenyl-4H-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a][1,4]benzodiazepine).” insert—
“Nitrous oxide.”.
Subparagraph (a) of paragraph 1 was designated as such by S.I. 1996/1300; there are other amendments to Schedule 2 which are not relevant to this Order.
