The National Assembly for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 1 of the Protection of Animals (Anaesthetics) Act 19541 and now vested in it,2 after consultation with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and with such persons appearing to the National Assembly for Wales to represent appropriate agricultural interests, that appear to the National Assembly to be appropriate makes the following Order:
