Nodyn Esboniadol

(Nid yw'r nodyn hwn yn rhan o'r Rheoliadau)

Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn gwneud diwygiadau pellach i Reoliadau Cartrefi Gofal (Cymru) 2002. Mae Rheoliad 19 o'r Rheoliadau hynny yn ei gwneud yn ofynnol bod gwybodaeth a dogfennau penodol ar gael mewn perthynas â phobl sy'n gweithio mewn cartref gofal, gan gynnwys tystysgrifau cofnodion troseddol a ddyroddwyd o dan Ddeddf yr Heddlu 1997. O ran staff a gyflogir mewn cartref gofal yn union cyn 1 Ebrill 2002, nid yw'r gofyniad sy'n ymwneud â thystysgrifau cofnodion troseddol yn gymwys tan 1 Ebrill 2003. Mae rheoliad 2(3) o'r Rheoliadau hyn yn diwygio'r gofyniad hwn fel nad yw'n gymwys tan 31 Hydref 2004.

(1)

2000 p.14. Mae'r pwerau yn arferadwy gan y Gweinidog priodol a ddiffinnir yn adran 121(1), mewn perthynas â Chymru, fel Cynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru. Gweler adran 121(1) i gael y diffiniadau o “prescribed” a “regulations”.
