Cigydda anifeiliaid

5.—(1) Lle bo gan arolygydd sail resymol i gredu bod anifail a allai gael ei heintio gan TSE wedi cael ei fwydo neu wedi cael mynediad at unrhyw ddeunydd y cyfeirir ato ym mharagraff 4, gall roi hysbysiad i'r perchennog neu'r person sy'n gyfrifol am yr anifail yn unol â'r paragraff hwn.

(2) Gall yr hysbysiad naill ai–

(a)ei gwneud hi'n ofynnol i'r perchennog neu'r person sy'n gyfrifol am yr anifail ei ladd a'i waredu fel y nodir yn yr hysbysiad; neu

(b)ei gwneud hi'n ofynnol i'r perchennog neu'r person sy'n gyfrifol am yr anifail ei gadw ar y safle ac yn y ffordd a nodir yr hysbysiad, os felly mae'n rhaid i'r arolygydd sicrhau bod y pasbort gwartheg yn cael ei stampio gyda'r geiriau “Not for human consumption”.
