Coming into force

The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred upon the Secretary of State by sections 22, 42(6) and 43(1) of the Teaching and Higher Education Act 19981, and now exercisable by them2 make the following Regulations:

Title, commencement and application

The title of these Regulations is the Assembly Learning Grants (European University Institute) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2010 and they come into force on 31 August 2010.

These Regulations apply in relation to Wales.

Amendment

The Assembly Learning Grants (European University Institute) (Wales) Regulations 20093 are amended in accordance with the following regulation.

a

for “rheoliad 33”, substitute “rheoliad 27”; and

b

for “rheoliad 27”, substitute “rheoliad 29”.

These Regulations amend the Assembly Learning Grants (European University Institute) (Wales) Regulations 2009 (“the 2009 Regulations”).

The 2009 Regulations provide for student support in respect of a designated higher education course at the European University Institute in respect of an academic year beginning on or after 1 September 2010.

These Regulations correct a drafting error in the Welsh text of regulation 28 of the 2009 Regulations.
