Mae Gweinidogion Cymru, drwy arfer y pwerau a roddwyd iddynt gan adrannau 96(10) a 97(3) o Deddf Cydraddoldeb 2010(1), yn gwneud y Rheoliadau a ganlyn:

Enwi, cychwyn a chymhwyso

1.—(1) Enw'r Rheoliadau hyn yw Rheoliadau Deddf Cydraddoldeb 2010 (Rheoleiddiwr Cyrff Cymwysterau Cyffredinol a Chymwysterau Perthnasol) (Cymru) 2010.

(2) Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn yn dod i rym ar 1 Hydref 2010 ac maent yn gymwys o ran Cymru.

Y rheoleiddiwr priodol

2.  Mae Gweinidogion Cymru wedi eu rhagnodi fel y rheoleiddiwr priodol mewn perthynas â chorff cymwysterau sy'n rhoi cymwysterau yng Nghymru.

Cymwysterau Perthnasol

3.  Mae'r cymwysterau a restrir yn yr Atodlen wedi eu rhagnodi'n gymwysterau perthnasol mewn perthynas â rhoi cymwysterau yng Nghymru.

Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn yn rhagnodi mai'r rheoleiddiwr priodol at ddibenion adran 96 o Deddf Cydraddoldeb 2010 yw Gweinidogion Cymru. Caiff y rheoleiddiwr priodol bennu materion nad ydynt yn cael eu dal gan y ddyletswydd sydd ar gyrff cymwysterau o dan yr adran honno i wneud addasiadau rhesymol ar gyfer pobl anabl.

Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn yn rhagnodi hefyd mai'r cymwysterau a restrir yn yr Atodlen yw'r cymwysterau perthnasol at ddibenion adrannau 96 a 97 o Deddf Cydraddoldeb 2010.
