59.—(1) Mae’r rheol hon yn gymwys pan fo’r swyddog canlyniadau wedi cymysgu’r papurau pleidleisio o dan reol 55(10) neu 57(4).

(2) Rhaid canfod canlyniad y bleidlais drwy gyfrif y pleidleisiau a roddwyd i bob ymgeisydd.

(3) Rhaid datgan bod yr ymgeisydd neu’r ymgeiswyr y rhoddwyd mwy o bleidleisiau iddo ef neu iddynt hwy nag i’r ymgeiswyr eraill, hyd at nifer y cynghorwyr sydd i’w hethol, wedi ei ethol neu wedi eu hethol.

(4) Yn ddarostyngedig i baragraff (5), rhaid i’r swyddog canlyniadau, i’r graddau y bo’n ymarferol, fwrw ymlaen yn ddi-dor â’r gwaith cyfrif pleidleisiau, gan ganiatáu amser ar gyfer lluniaeth yn unig.

(5) Caiff y swyddog canlyniadau eithrio unrhyw oriau rhwng 7 p.m. a 9 a.m. fore trannoeth.

(6) Yn ystod unrhyw amser sydd wedi ei eithrio, rhaid i’r swyddog canlyniadau—

(a)gosod y papurau pleidleisio a’r dogfennau eraill sy’n ymwneud â’r etholiad o dan sêl y swyddog canlyniadau a seliau unrhyw asiantau cyfrif prif ardal sy’n dymuno gosod eu sêl, a

(b)cymryd rhagofalon priodol fel arall ar gyfer diogelwch y papurau pleidleisio a’r dogfennau eraill.
