COUNTY COURTS

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 188(4) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004(1) and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—
1. This Order may be cited as the Civil Partnership Proceedings County Courts Order (Northern Ireland) 2005 and shall come into operation on 5th December 2005.
2. The county courts sitting for the divisions of Londonderry, Antrim, Fermanagh and Tyrone, Armagh and South Down, Ards, Craigavon and Belfast are designated as civil partnership proceedings county courts.

This Order designates the county courts sitting for the various county court divisions in Northern Ireland as civil partnership proceedings county courts in which civil partnership causes may be commenced and in which undefended civil partnership causes may be tried under the Civil Partnership Act 2004.
