This draft Order supersedes the draft Legislative and Regulatory Reform (Regulatory Functions) (Amendment) Order 2009 laid before Parliament on 4 June 2009 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that draft Statutory Instrument.

The Minister for Communications, Technology and Broadcasting makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 24(2) of the Legislative and Regulatory Reform Act 2006(1).

In accordance with section 24(6) of that Act, the Minister has consulted the persons whose functions are specified in this Order and such other persons as the Minister considered appropriate.

In accordance with section 24(9) of that Act, a draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament.
