Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1
The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 12(4)(f) and (h), (5), (6), (7)(f), (8)(e), (10) and (11) and 66(1)(c) of the Children Act 2004(1);
In accordance with section 66(3) of that Act a draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament.
2004 c.31. Section 12 was amended by paragraph 43 of Schedule 2 to the Childcare Act 2006 (c.21); paragraphs 264 and 265 of Schedule 1 to the National Health Service (Consequential Provisions) Act 2006 (c.43); S.I 2010/866 and 2010/1158. Section 66(3) was amended by section 194(1) and (7) of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009 (c.22).
