1. This Order may be cited as the Local Elections (Declaration of Acceptance of Office) (Welsh Forms) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 10th June 1991.
2. The declaration of acceptance of office by the chairman, vice-chairman or a councillor of the council of a county or district in Walers may be in the form in Schedule I to this Order, or a form to the like effect, in place of the declaration of acceptance of office set out in the Schedule to the Local Elections (Principal Areas) (Declaration of Acceptance of Office) Order 1990(1).
3. The declaration of acceptance of office by the chairman or a councillor of a community council may be in the form in Schedule II to this Order, or a form to the like effect, in place of the declaration of acceptance of office set out in the Local Elections (Parishes and Communities) (Declaration of Acceptance of Office) Order 1990(2).
4. Article 3 of and Part II of the Schedule to the Local Elections (Principal Areas) (Welsh Forms) Order 1987(3) (form of declaration of office by chairman, vice-chairman or councillors of a county or district in Wales) is hereby revoked.
5. Article 3 of and Part II of the Schedule to the Local Elections (Communities) (Welsh Forms) Order 1987(4) (form of delaration of office by chairman, vice-chairman or councillors of a community council) is hereby revoked.
