The European Parliamentary Elections (Returning Officers) Order 1999

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by paragraph 4(1)(a)(ii) and (b)(ii) of Schedule 1 to the European Parliamentary Elections Act 1978(1), hereby makes the following Order:

1978 c. 10; the title of this Act has been amended by section 3(1)(b) and (2)(b) of the European Communities (Amendment) Act 1986 (c. 58) and paragraph 4 was substituted by Schedule 2 to the European Parliamentary Elections Act 1999 (c. 1).
