The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 97(5) of the Courts Act 2003(1) hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Collection of Fines (Pilot Schemes) (Amendment No. 3) Order 2005 and shall come into force on the 26th September 2005.

Amendment to the Collection of Fines (Pilot Schemes) Order 2004

2.  In Collection of Fines (Pilot Schemes) Order 2004(2) for the Schedule substitute—

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the Collection of Fines (Pilot Schemes) Order 2004 (“the 2004 Order”). The 2004 Order established schemes for the piloting of different provisions of the fines collection scheme contained in Schedule 5 to the Courts Act 2003. This Order replaces the Schedule of the 2004 Order to extend part of the pilot scheme to more local justice areas.
