The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2(1)(1), 4(1) and 6(1) of the Compulsory Purchase (Vesting Declarations) Act 1981(2), makes the following Regulations:

See the definition of “prescribed”. The function of the Secretary of State under section 2(1) to prescribe by regulations, so far as exercisable in relation to Wales, was transferred to the National Assembly for Wales by the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/672). This function was subsequently transferred from the National Assembly to the Welsh Ministers by paragraph 30 of Schedule 11 to the Government of Wales Act 2006 (c. 32).

1981 c. 66; section 4(1) was amended by section 184 of the Housing and Planning Act 2016 (c. 22). Section 6(1) was amended by section 183 of, and paragraphs 4 and 7 of Schedule 15 to, the Housing and Planning Act 2016.
