Dehongli

2.  Yn y Rheoliadau hyn,

ystyr “awdurdod lleol priodol” (“appropriate local authority”) yw—

(i)

yr awdurdod lleol y maethir y plentyn yn breifat yn ei ardal; neu

(ii)

yn achos cynnig i faethu plentyn yn breifat, yr awdurdod lleol y cynigir bod y plentyn yn cael ei faethu'n breifat yn ei ardal;

ystyr “diwrnod gwaith” (“working day”) yw diwrnod nad yw'n ddydd Sadwrn, yn ddydd Sul, yn Ddydd Nadolig, yn Ddydd Gwener y Groglith nac yn ŵyl y banc o fewn ystyr Deddf Bancio a Thrafodion Ariannol 1971;

ystyr “y Ddeddf” (“the Act”) yw Deddf Plant 1989; ac

ystyr “gofalydd maeth preifat” (“private foster carer”) yw person sy'n maethu plentyn yn breifat.
